“POLAR BEARS”

Polar bears are at the top of the food chain and have an important role in the overall health of the marine environment. Over thousands of years, polar bears have also been an important part of the cultures and economies of Arctic peoples. Polar bears depend on sea ice for their existence and are directly impacted by climate change—serving as an important indicator species.

How does climate change affect polar bears so dramatically?

Polar Bear Specialist Group show that they are in decline and that there is a high estimated risk of future decline due to climate change. As their sea ice habitat shrinks from climate change, skinnier and hungrier polar bears face a grave challenge to their survival. Polar bears rely on sea ice to access the seals that are their primary source of food as well as to rest and breed. With less sea ice every year, polar bears and many other ice-dependent creatures are at risk. In most areas, they come ashore when ice melts and rely on fat stores until the ice refreezes so they can go back out to hunt. Some polar bears may suffer from malnutrition. In extreme cases—especially females with cubs— they may face starvation. Traditional prey species may be less accessible in a new sea ice environment, and seals that use the ice are predicted to fare poorly in the warming Arctic region. Climate change is also resulting in more habitat fragmentation. As Arctic ice melts, polar bears are affected by increased shipping activities and a rise in opportunities for oil and gas development. Other key threats include polar bear-human conflicts, unsustainable hunting and industrial impacts.

            Conserving habitat for Arctic ice dependent species and protecting the cultural heritage and economies of local communities. So we have to sustainably preserve the rich biodiversity of this region for example industrial development takes place, it is sustainable and does not damage wildlife populations and ecosystems to any great extent. The survival and the protection of the polar bear habitat are urgent issues. Your voice matters.

What's Rabies?        Rabies is a viral illness spread through the saliva of an infected animal. This happens because rabid animals biting a human or another animal. Transmission can also occur through saliva touching an open wound or touching mucous membrane.        Rabies is a disease that affects the brain. Rabies attacks the brain and spinal cord. If it is not prevented, it will cause death. It´s usually passed from animal to animal but it can be passed from animals to people. It´s caused by a virus. A virus is a very tiny germ, and you can only see that germ if you have a special microscope. Any mammal can get rabies. Do you remember what a mammal is? Mammals are warm-blooded animals with fur. We´re mammals, and so are most of our pets like cats and dogs. Lots of farm animals like cows and horses are mammals, and so are wild animals like foxes and skunks. We can all get rabies. Fast food There are 2 kinds of food which is useful and useless food. Food helps us to encourage a flu immune system and   to live a normal life in every day. However, If we talk about food that   children and some group of adults including me prefer which is fast food. Fast food is food that can be prepared and served   quickly, easily accessible and cheap alternatives to home-cooked meals. Based on the survey the result  show us that hamburger is fast food that  the most people prefer and the second highest is pizza if we focus at this part  they show us the percentage of fast food consumption ,the country which the most consume fast food is USA. From this picture and histrogram the most people choose to consume fast food more than healthy food ,especially, woman are likely to eat fast food more than men.      Not to mention, from my experience at least, the taste from some fast food restaurants are absolutely divine.  Even thought I like it so much ,
